[Percy doesn't break promises to his wife. As soon as he has his workshop up and running, the first things he makes are gifts to Vex'ahlia. Maybe she'd only been joking, but he certainly wasn't.

When he's finished, he leaves them in a velvet bag on her pillow. Inside, are two sets of handcuffs.

Accompanying the gifts is a note in Percy's elegant hand.]

I recall a conversation regarding Discipline and Obedience. And I promised these to you then. Do your worst, my love.

[ She absolutely wasn't joking, and the fact that he's gifted her not one, but two pairs, the gift of options, she may as well have swooned.

They're kept in their lovely velvet bag on her side of the bed, for....fun. Eventually. Perhaps they're a nice thought. Perhaps they're something she thought she'd entertain and thought twice about. Vex makes almost no mention of them to Percy other than how much she appreciates them, and that's about that for a few weeks.

But he did say, 'Do your worst.' She wholly intends to. It's a multilayered plan, and it begins with her slipping the keys to Obedience into his pocket the night before. And seeing how quickly he puts two and two together. ]
