I mean, I feel like the reason everyone tells me no so much is because they know I'll just fold and accept it. and I realized that the reason I rejected your suggestion of proposing to your brother was because I didn't want to be told no. but maybe if I work on asserting myself more, people won't tell me no as often.
i suppose that depends entirely on what you're trying to be, ah. assertive about.
i suppose i just...plan for the next best option before going in. so i go in thinking that if i get told no, that i have a plan---for either getting told yes, or moving on.
